About Me

I love food, along with swimming, cycling and running (that’s right…I’m a triathlete). In fact, I am an Ironman triathlete (multiple times) and this year in 2018, will be travelling to Kona, Hawaii to compete in the coveted Ironman World Championships.  I have a degree in Psychology and Human Movement Studies from The University of Queensland.  I am also a qualified Triathlon Australia triathlon coach.

Most importantly, I became a Certified Banting Coach in 2016 with The Real Meal Revolution and Dr Timothy Noakes.   After regaining my own “health” after decades of sugar addiction and suffering from what I now know to be chronic inflammation, I now teach people like you how to get off Struggle Street and follow “A Banter’s Life”.

Banting is a term dating back to the 1880’s to describe a low carbohydrate diet with moderate amounts of protein and high amounts of healthy fats.  These days, it refers to the more common Low Carb Healthy Fats (LCHF) term used to describe a diet that is based largely on eating non processed food that is low in natural sugars (with no refined sugars) as well as avoiding any grains and starchy vegetables.   It is about learning how to eat healthy foods that make you feel, look and perform well.  So begin a conversation and regain your freedom from being addicted to refined sugar, one of and possibly the worst drugs introduced to the human population.
